Rz. seu Rx. Notopterygii Qiang Huo 3-9g Releases the exterior, disperses Cold, expels Wind-Cold-Dampness, unblocks painful obstruction, alleviates pain and guides Qi to the Tai Yang and Du channels.
With Chuan Xiong, for headache and generalized body aches and pains associated with the common cold or painful obstruction.
With Fang Feng, for pain due to External Wind-Dampness.
With Fang Feng, Bai Zhi, Xi Xin and Chuan Xiong, for Wind-Cold with aversion to Cold, fever, headaches and muscle aches.
With Fang Feng, Bai Zhi and Cang Zhu, for Wind-Cold.
With Cang Zhu for a heavy-headed sensation.
Rx. Saposhnikoviae Fang Feng 3-9g Releases the Exterior, Expels Wind-Dampness, alleviates pain and stops spasms.
With Cang Zhu, for Wind-Cold-Dampness with chills, anhidrosis, headache, heavy head, lethargy, heavy limbs and stifling fullness in the chest and abdomen.
With Qiang Huo, for Wind-Dampness.
Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu 3-9g Induces sweating, expels Wind-Dampness, strongly dries Dampness and tonifies the Spleen.
With Chuan Xiong, Bai Zhi, Xi Xin and Qiang Huo, for Exterior Wind-Cold-Dampness.
Rx. Hb. cum Rx. Asari Xi Xin 1-6g Disperses Wind-Cold and Internal Cold, alleviates pain, warms the Lungs, transforms Phlegm and Thin Mucus, disperses and unblocks the Qi of the nasal orifices and relieves toothache.
With Sheng Di Huang, for headache and toothache due to Wind-Heat.
With Chuan Xiong and Fang Feng, for Bi syndrome.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 2-9g Expels Wind and alleviates pain.
With Xi Xin, for Wind-Cold headache, toothache and Bi pain.

Rx. Angelicae Dahuricae Bai Zhi 2-9g Expels Wind, eliminates Dampness, unblocks the nasal passages, dispels Cold and alleviates pain.
With Xi Xin, for Wind-Cold induced headaches, sinus headaches, orbital headaches and toothache aggravated by cold air.

Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 2-9g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and generates fluids.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 2-6g Moistens the Lungs, resolves Phlegm, stops cough and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
  • Contraindicated for those with Warm pathogenic diseases.
  • Use with great caution for those who tend toward Yin Deficiency.
